I have no valid answer to this as I never had a "true" friend. They all let me down in one way or another. I was always there for them, through thick and thin. I gave too much of myself. It's time for me to be very selective in whom I am choosing as a friend. I will no longer be taken for granted in this more than miserable world. I have to make a world of happiness with "true" friends for myself. If someone can show me they are my "true" friend, perhaps I will consider trying to involve them in my life........
