If you are talking about the "Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas" sign it is on Las Vegas Blvd (The Strip) just south of Mandalay Bay (on the east side of the airport). It is right in the middle of the median so you can't miss it

Why not take a tour of the Las Vegas City & Strip Tour up to the Las Vegas Sign.
Check out Las Vegas City Tour & Hoover Dam at Night.

Las Vegas Blvd. south of the Luxor. I'm not sure what's out there any more, haven't lived there in over 13 years, but it is way at the south end of Las Vegas Blvd.

The "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign is all the way at the end of the strip past Mandalay Bay. Sort of on the way to the airport.

On past the Mandalay Bay, you can walk to it. Dont go there at night though, there is not that much around it, and alot of homless people congregate along the strip there in front of the Mandalay Bay and Luxor, it can get kind of freaky...

There is a Reno sign in Reno that you might be thinking of. But alot of the classic casino signs from movies (like the cowboy tipping his hat) are on Freemount st.
