i have asked him several times over the years to quit driking i am finnaly sick of it.. he says he will quit for me, but he refuses to go to AA... and i fell he really really needs it, he is not abusive whne he drinks but he still drinks too much.. I want him to quit drinking but not for me i want him toquit becase he wants to quit.......... so the real question is .. How do i get him to quit for himself??? i am at my ends i amnot happy any more

can you own a dog if you work?

My family would like to get a dog. We understand all the resposibilities that go with it. But we do work and would be gone 6-8 hours a day. From all I read and applications I have seen, it seems you must not work to have a dog. Are the only people who own dogs not working? wouldnt it be better to be with a family then in a shelter environment? We would give the dog all the attention it needs except during work hours? Any thoughts?I know about doggie daycare and walkers, etc. Thanks

How do I lower high cholesterol in a=my 3.5 yr. old daughter?

My 3 year old daughter was diagnosed with a cholesterol level of 202 recently. She doesn't eat too many sweets but does not like fruits and veggies either. She does like whole wheat breads and pasta and dairy products. Oatmeal, farina and Cheerios aresome of her favorite foods, but she also loves mac n' cheese. She is a very active little girl who gets plenty of exercise, sleep and water. What should I do to supplement her diet and lower her cholesterol. I feel very concerned about this.

Why do ANIME characters have such large eyes?

Surely these characters would be derived from the Japanese culture. Lets admit it, Japanese eyes aren't huge and round....Is this style a hybrid? If so when did the style start to take shape.

Do it seem that Christmas is coming a lot faster than it has in the past , or is it just me and a few others ?

The months and years seem to be zooming by now, it used to seem to take forever for holidays like "Christmas" to come, but now it gets here, and back again before we can prepare for it, or is that just me and a small group of others in my age catagory, lol personally how do you feel ?

What is the most realistic-looking artificial diamond?
