Most of you seem to be saying 'because they do!'-but would anyone be happy with the answer 'because it is!' to the question 'why is the sky blue?'

To expand it further-
Since it is true that objects stay the same size regardless of their distance, is it fair to say that 'objects only look smaller - the greater the distance-due to the way the human brain organizes information, in order to allow the viewer to make sense of the world around them?'-Indeed if there existed a species which used sound as a primary method of observation-that their brains might not sort information in this way-and who might 'see' objects at great distance at 'full' size-generating a confusing mass of image and perspective, making their visual senses less usefull than hearing or touch? and while I understand the concept that less light reaches the observer-the greater the distance-why doesn't it result in a dimmer image rather than a smaller one?

you can definitely feel a hard lump. but nothing is coming out of it except clear fluid. NOTHING!! i've had cellulitis before. I thought that is what it was at first. but it's definitely not. too many of the symptoms are missing for it to be that. it's right between my eyes!! boo-hoo. help??!

Can fleas make a dog sick? What can I put on him to keep the fleas away? He was a stray that my dad brought home over 9 years ago. I am not sure how old he is since he was a stray. He has not ate anything in about 3 days, he has dropped a lot of weight, and he has this nasty stuff coming out of his eyes (yellowish-greenish color). He is also breathing sort-of heavy. He is up and walking around. I bathed him today and he was covered in fleas. Can the fleas cause a dog to get sick? He is an "outside dog". He is dearly loved and I contacted the vet, I would have to use the emergency vet, which is pretty far away from my home. Please help me...what should I do until Monday when I can bring him to the local vet?

do you have to continue to take a prenatal vitamin or will a multi work if you are nursing a baby?. Since I have been so sick with this pregnancy, I have only been able to take 2 flintstones a day. I figured that once the baby is here, I wont get sick anymore and I can take a "Real" vitamin

I bought a x-box and I love it. A friend of mine of the female gender told me when she found out, that I should keep that information to myself and never share it with the male gender as none of them enjoys having a girlfriend who plays video games.
