i have a problem where i go to the restroom a lot...like every half hour...what kind of doctor do i go to to get checked?

Ask your ob/gyn about a disease called Intercystial Cystitus. I was going to the bathroom about 20 times a day , there was no pain , only frequency and urgency . There are several types of treatment . This may or may not be your problem but it is worth inquiring about. I chose something called a " bladder cocktail" which is kinda like pepto bismal for your stomach only this is a soothing mixture for your bladder, which for me worked like a miracle. Start with your family doctor. He/she may well be able to diagnose the problem & then direct you to a specialist if needed.

Your regular doctor can help you. He can do tests to determine what the problem is and refer you to a specialist if he thinks you need it.

I have the same problem.. I asked my regular doctor about it, but he just said lay back on the caffiene and soda pops...and tea...and beer...oh well..lol
