I am the only one on my block who recycles. And I notice that sometimes there is a lot of waste. We need to recycle to help preserve our resources for future generations so we don't turn into cannibals. Like for example, the Easter Islanders. They used up all of their resources by making these stupi stone statues. And towards the end they had no other food, so they had to east eachother.

It is something that is said often. When I would go to a club, yeah, several black people would dance really well. There were also some that never got on the dance floor at all. I use to need courage in a shot to get on the floor myself. But the clubs around here also had more black or mexicans in them, unless you wanted to go to a country bar. So I haven't seen that many white people really dance. I'm a tall white girl with a big a** and it was mostly black guys that would even have the courage to come out and ask me to dance. And it's funny, I ended up marrying a tall, big white guy and he dances like a sterotypical white guy. I tease him about it. I often wonder if he can learn rhythem.

I was talking to a man today, and he said, "if there are so many conservatives in the United States, why are things not more 50/50." Uh, hello, the last two national elections were pretty much 50/50. He must live in that box the national media accuses our President of living in. He is so right in his views he cannot fathom that there are many people who disagree with him. How do we get these people to think objectively?

I've done a bunch of online research already and am overwhelmed! If there's anyone out there who lives in the area, or has visited already, please help me out.
I'm planning to go for a week next year, but I'm not sure when's the best time to go. I've heard of "First Saturdays", are they every Saturday of every month, or just during certain times? That's just one example of what I'm asking...
I'd really like to explore all of what Savannah has to offer, so obviously, I'd rather not go during any known bad weather times.
Also, any tips on what to plan to do while I'm there, places to stay (I'd like something "Southern feeling" like a homey B&B or something), places to eat, etc. Anything you can offer that'd help would be greatly appreciated, so thanks in advance! :)
P.S.-I realize this is in the Atlanta section, but there doesn't seem to be a Georgia or Savannah category here.

I think I married him so I wouldn't be alone
so my 2 children would have a father

and now I have 4 kids (had another but was asked to terminate the pregnancy cause the baby had major defects and the hubby and other family members thought it would be more of a struggle than do good for anyone in the house, and thought I was being selfish cause I wanted to go full term and see what would happen- there were options, but in the end I terminated cause of all the pressure)

now I am so friggin miserable - there is no passion all we do is sit around the house, there really isn't any connecting with the kids they play around us but we don't play with them cause well, the computer or television is more important

he is into his hobby more than he is in making sure the bills are paid

he doesn't beat me or cheat on me or drink himself drunk

I just dont know what my problem is --- HELP
