Lot's of people don't know anybody. You will meet people fast...just be outgoing and have confidence. Don't try and be something you are not because others see right through that and it may backfire on you. Just smile, be friendly, and hold your head high. People your age are always trying to make new friends...make them want to be yours.

You will know somebody, because some people from your elementary school will end up there too! But if you really don't know anybody, then introduce yourself to others, try to start conversations with other people, or make interesting things (for me, origami models like stars and birds) which will perk up conversations if you don't start one yourself. At the end of the day, you'll know several people. Starting in a new school is actually good because you have a clean slate to work with. So do your best! Good luck!

You'll be fine, i was, i only knew a couple of people and they wasn't my Friends at that. But i eventually had lots and lots of friends. They are ed to when they are alone and don't have any friends. So if you see any body that looks friendly and all alone go over and talk that's what i did. But you'll be fine i make it though. When i got there i was so excited and scared for the first week then it started getting better as i made more friends.

i actually knew a lot of people at my middle school before i actually started school (even some of the seventh and eighth graders) so i can't really help you there. middle school is great. i had a lot of fun and they were some of the best years of my life.

well for me i knew people from my elementary school, but not many in my classes.
it was scary because it was a bigger school, and i never had to switch classes. but teachers usually allow you to come to class later if it is your first year there and your first year having to change classes. you do get use to it. be nice and try to make friends. good luck! i hope it works out good.

just try and fit in with the best crowd that you think u'll fit in to..just trust your instincs...by the end of the first week you'll already know your new friends, but don't be shy or quiet because then you'll just seem like you don't fit in.

SWEETY, YOU JUST NEED TO TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME. DON'T JUST BE SOMEBODIES FRIEND BECAUSE YOUR DESPERATE. TRY TO FIND A GOOD CROWD TO HANG WITH. REMEMBER YOUR NOT JUDGED ON WHO YOU ARE BUT THE PEOPLE YOU HANG OUT WITH. SOMETIMES ITS A GOOD THING TO START ALL OVER. YOU'LL DO GREAT, JUST TAKE EACH DAY WITH A OPTIMISTIC APPROACH.
