It is something that is said often. When I would go to a club, yeah, several black people would dance really well. There were also some that never got on the dance floor at all. I use to need courage in a shot to get on the floor myself. But the clubs around here also had more black or mexicans in them, unless you wanted to go to a country bar. So I haven't seen that many white people really dance. I'm a tall white girl with a big a** and it was mostly black guys that would even have the courage to come out and ask me to dance. And it's funny, I ended up marrying a tall, big white guy and he dances like a sterotypical white guy. I tease him about it. I often wonder if he can learn rhythem.

No my husband is black and can't dance a lick. I think for some black people they start dancing when they are young like in a dance group. I think it depends on the perosn not the race of that person. try to watch So You Think You Can Dance and you will see some white people who can dance better then black people.

I think it comes down to the type of music that's playing. It's easier to drop it like it's hot to Snoop as opposed to Britney Spears. I think some people try too hard to dance to music that they don't normally listen to, then they make for a funny story while you're taking a dance break at the club.
Does your husband dance like the white guy on Hitch? :)

Lady the Blacks have what they call Jive. They do it all the time. I believe it come from there hertiage back in Africa with the drums thing.
I believe the most important thing to most of them is Jive walking or talking or dancing lol.
Yes Whites can dance real good also. Some can lol.

I thought so too, and I went to a salsa group class and chose to practise with a black guy thinking he would be more talented. Well, he was lousy!! Sorry, I don't want to offend black people, generally they are great in dancing, singing, etc, but we must not generalise - this is a form of racism too.

from what i see most black people are just not self conscience of how they look when they dance so they just go with the flow, where white people (not all by the way) are to worried about what they will look like dancing and so it makes them look uncomfortable when they do it.

He probably can't. Black people do dance better. They dance better than us Asians too! lol However, my husband (who is Chinese) can dance his a$$ off.

Yes blacks dance better, they do a lot of physical things better.
It's all about the genetics. They have far more quick synapse muscle fiber,and that makes them far better athletes.

i think they do , once i watched this black girl dancing at outdoor festival and i was amazed at her and she was just a kid
