I have found my true love, but I live in Maine, and he lives in Penn. Both of us are going through a divorce. We want to be together but my mom is having a tough time excepting my choice. I love him, and want to be with him full time. But my mom is really giving me a tough time about all of this.

Do you think it would be better to get up early (and miss out on an extra 45 minutes of sleep) and run/cardio workout, then go to work (12 hour shifts) or get up and get ready for work, then run/cardio workout right before going to bed?

I've heard of playing "toothpick tug-of-war"- which is played by putting a toothpick in your mouth and having your cockatiel (who is on your shoulder) tug it away from your mouth...

Does anyone have any tips for other games I can play with my cockatiel? I'm even open for tips on how I can show him affection.

I already pet him, kiss him, nibble on him (lol), and everything else. I just want to know of other ways I can express affection towards him.

BTW, I ALREADY spend a LOT of time with him. Please don't leave me with a one-statement answer that just says "spend more time with him." I already give him a lot of time... except my bonding and loving-ness is getting a little dull for myself. I want to show him love in more than one way. :-p

Also, what are some good toys I can give him to play with? He's so damn adorable!! :-D

Yahoo Q'S AND A'S is very helpful and convenient? And that alot of people on here, answer questions/give advice as if they are answering a question or giving advice to someone they have known for years? My parents are Roman Catholic. My mother keeps pestering me about getting confirmed and is thinking of having everything arranged and talking to a priest about it soon. I don't really see myself as a Catholic. I'm just fifteen, and don't think I'm ready to box myself into these beliefs. I see it as unfair for her to try to force them onto me. I've told her that I don't want to be confirmed, but she acts like I haven't said a word and when I tell my siblings about it (they're ten years older than me), they tell me to treat it as a tradition. Should I really just give in to this, when I completely disagree with it?
