This was inevitable, the Brazilian manager decided to play boring ugly football, conservative to the point of not being Brazilian in style, and Brazil deserved to be shown the door.
Playing Cafu, Ze Roberto and Ronaldo, and leaving Adriano and Robinho on the bench, defeat was deserved.
Actually putting Ronaldo on was asking for failure, France didn't even have to put a defender on him. it was like watching 12 against 10.
I would never be happy with a bad team getting to the final, but less so with a Brazil as they allowed France to get into the semi.
Go Portugal..

hi! i'm a teen from brazil, and i'm very sad with the lost to the France. In my opinion, Parreira (the coach of Brazil team) is a ignorant, he don't was intelligent...
He do substituitions in the final of the game, its was impossible Brazil try win.
The Brazil's people is very sad and decepcioned with our selection...

Im am so happy that France won. Brazil thought that they had everything figured out, now its a chance for other teams to win the cup. Sooooooooooooo HAPPY!!!!!

I'm HAPPY HAPPY Brazil lost and HAPPY HAPPY England lost.
They think they are the 'prima donas' of football and will win without any trouble. Better they spend the next four years learning how to play football. But lucky Beckham, now he can spend more time with his beautiful wife.

As with almost all the answers... sorry, but I also am happy for France. =)
First, I usually prefer to root for the underdogs. Second, I think Zidane and his squad played very well and deserved the win, especially since it will be Zizou's last.

it's no use to vent our anger...from day one of world cup, brazil was struggling to win...the way they played was a sure sign of them losing out before the finals...they have only themselves to blame...

I was sort of happy France won... since I learnt that Ronaldo earns $60,000 a day while his countrymen and women live in such poverty.
