I mean throughout history, even the queens gotta abide by the kings'rules.

Kings used to have multiple wifves and whatnot.

But women make the world beautiful. So who do you think should rule the world?

Please tell me you agree. Even as he gets older he is still the hottest guy ever to grace our planet. If you doubt my opinion watch him in Elliott Ness, and Robin Hood. Just YUMMY!!

One year ( back in high school ) we took out an ad in the local newspaper ( 7 days after christmas) that read as follows :
Will pay up to $10 for used X-Mas trees.
1656 Ashton Dr.
This was a joke that we pulled on some dirtbag that ended up with over 200 trees thrown all over his front lawn, car & porch cause, people just got fed up waiting for their money and he didn't know what was going on - we sat across the street in an apt. and busted our guts laughing for hours ! After a while folks just stopped their cars and started dumping the trees and driving off !
The cops wrote him up for code violations the next day !!!

We took my boyfriend to the hospital on Friday and he was diagnosed w/ a kidney stone. 2-3mm. He's having another attack right now... and he's in the bathroom throwing up and won't listen to any advice i'm trying to give him currently. Hm. I'm asking him to just drink a lot of water or apply a heating pad, but he says he's too sick. I know he's in a lot of pain... he usually doesn't show it.
Um. What are some warning signs that I should take him into the ER again? Also, he's already on perscription pain meds for this... but it doesn't seem to help. Any advice on some more home remedies?

My husband and I have a disagreement on this issue. We're dining out at an mid-class sit-down restaurant. We have a single server, who brings drinks, takes orders, brings condiments, extra stuff, cleans spills, brings to-go boxes, refills drinks, etc.

Husband: "I think if I go to a restaurant and our server does all of the above but was not UNUSUALLY polite but average, I do not owe our server a tip at the end of the meal, as he/she was merely doing what was expected. Tips are optional, and 6% is not an insult."

Wife: "I think if we go to a restaurant, we are paying an amount for our food, and for service - two separate prices. Servers work for tips, that's their income. We pay the restaurant and cooks to supply and cook for us, we pay the server to bring it and other stuff to us. We're paying them for the job they do. A tip is not optional. I like 20% to 30%, but NEVER less than 15%."

Is a tip required or optional?
How much?
Please quote sources, and details.

Since I've been a kid, I've always heard that it is impolite to wear my hat to the dinner table, or wear a hat to church. Just wandering why this is impolite, why is this a tradition, and where this tradition came from.
