I wonder. Many teens realize having a child at their age would be an irresponsible thing to do, and that they are not ready for it.
Why do some young adults, not think and prioritize their life and realize these things.
I think it depends on how supportive your guardians/parents were and how much they accept you and your individuality.
But I'm not sure.
I'm a smart person who makes most of my decisions rationally, some out of emotion, and I realize that some people tend to "have it together", and some don't.
Why is that? Why did I have children at 22 and 24 years of age?
And now I feel as if I should've wiated, like they are?
FYI, During my teen years, I was rebellious, running away from my unloving, unnurturing, strict Muslim home, born in America.
I love my family but I never felt like I could open up, be close to them. They were never, I mean never involved in my interests at any time.
