i am an south east asian( thts' INDIA' ) and there was alot of indifference, i mean it was horifing why? people wacth so horrifing television shows like adult swim, m-tv where therer is reveling of human parts, girls gone wild, and BET i mean i use to watch
BET in india and it was toataly diffrent form this ? gosh i usually get to wach cartoons like alladin and little mermaid and the three ducks - loue etc... i mean what has happened to this(u.s.a) country i mean they are trying to remove sin from this country then y is it cominig back is tht because they are not removeing they are using it to fight for a reason? did u know amount of gay people in america is the highest then in any country? i mean i am only hear to get my education while i am being horaced and falsly acusing being gay because i don't have a gf is techknoweldgy has ruin the world for the truth of its existence?

this is in my opinion: television & tech. haven't ruined our (our, as in: america's) lives, but i think it has put pressure on ppl to do things they dont want to do or act a certain way to be accepted in this society. when i turn on the tv i see a lot of materialism and some discrimination. materialism because i see mostly really skinny and "flawless" ppl on commercials. i dont know if you've seen it, but the dove commercials are my favorite cuz they show real people. discrimination cuz many ppl do make jokes about sexual orientations. the word gay has recently been taken out of context. ive heard ppl say, "that shirt looks gay" or stuff like that. i honestly respect you b/c u have stayed true to your morals and values by not getting a gf just b/c the ppl around u think u should or make fun of you. i hope this kinda answers your question. :)

Thank God I live in the USA. I have the right to turn off anything I don't want to watch- and when I want.
TV is actually a blessing for a lot of people. A lot of senior citizen depend on TV for information. The Weather Chanel gives warning that a lot of people would not get.
No - TV does not ruin our lives. It enhances it!
