Couild have been trimmed a little more, a bit dead in some spots. Over all it's worth seeing, but only good enough for discount, matinee. Kevin Spacey's Lex is worth the price of admission. Routh is a scary likeness to Reeves and at times even sounds like him. LIke the new suit, some of the scenes were just awesome. Really dealt with the issue of how people had learned to deal without him and how he had to deal with all the changes upon his return. I don't fully buy him getting his old job back after a five year abcense though, but if you like to go early you will also see a trailer for the new Spiderman 3 movie and it is confimered rigt befoer your eyes the Villians are Sandman, Hobgoblin and Venom!!!!

Pretty mediocre at best. Its definately a rental, but not worth $8.75 per ticket. Its too conencidental that superman would be able to get his old job back after 5 years. I think Lois is a whore that tricked some guy into taking care of supermans baby. The best character in the movie was Lex. Kevin Spacey was born to play Lex. The movie got boring in spots, should have been 2 hours not 2.5.
