Doesn't sound good does it?

Switch the machine off. Take the flexible waste pipe out of the wall and gently lower it over a large bowl and see if any water comes out.

If it does, then you can syphon the water out into the bowl and empty it of water.

Now switch the machine back on and see if it will now spin out. It may be the pump isnt working (i dont know why) but once the machine detects the water level is lower it should start spinning. It won't answer your question completely but it will rule out the control unit.

Let us know how you get on.

If its overloaded, or on a wool wash or gentle cycle it won't spin. Or if the creasehold setting is on.
If it emptied while it was going through the wash cycle its ok.

If you just bought it then there must be a warranty on it. Take it back and demand your money back,or have them send a repairman to solve the problem.
