A bus driver was heading down a street in Colorado. He went right past a stop sign without stopping, he turned left where there was a "no left turn" sign, and he went the wrong way on a one-way street. Then he went on the left side of the road past a cop car. Still - he didn't break any traffic laws. Why not?

Does anyone here always feel sad? For some reason, im feeling very down and emotional and i use humour to hide that from people. Does any one else do that?
I do have things on my mind, bt my heart tells me that it is not this that is making me sad.
I cannot pin point why i feel this way. please cheer me up...tell me a joke or something :(

i am always gone to stay with my grandma or my friends and im all my cat has got. everytime i come home she just ignores me. i got her when i was in the third grade and she use to to always come when i said or even just come anyways. any ideas on how i can stay at other peoples houses and have my cat love me?

I have told my husband of over 20 years I am unhappy and think a divorce is the best option. He does not want this and is trying very hard to work on things. I feel none of the feelings I should feel for my mate. There has been some verbal abuse over the years. He now says he is sorry and understands that is not the way you treat someone you love. I am afraid it is a little too late for that. I need to know how to proceed without totally devastating him, as I do care about his feelings, just dont want to be with him anymore.

I was reading a story about Watergate, and came across this sentence. "In the early morning of June 17, 1972, a team of five burglars were arrested in the act of breaking into the Democratic Party's Nation Committee offices in the Watergate Hotel in downtown Washington, D.C." Shouldn't the "were" be "was" because the subject is team? Or is team plural? This has been bothering me.

I term myself as spiritual and not religious for a reason. The reason being that no one religion expresses the truth without some error. The error may simply be the context of history has changed, but nevertheless it has been forgotten that in root religion was a product of an initial individual inspiration. This sprout of inspiration at some point became intellectualized, codified & eventually the initial inspiration transforms itself into an institution subject to the trapping of power, corruption and legalism. It seems that most great religions had figures that were controversial at the time, doing and saying things against the conventional norms of the religions of the times. If we ourselves are open to the daily potential of mystical experience we should then be prepared to discover conclusions that also go against certain established religious norms.
