I was watching this flick a couple of weeks ago and noticed that right before the beginning credits a statement came up saying "This movie is based upon real events" -- or something like that. Is this a joke? I have ALWAYS had an intense feeling that could be described as necrophobia (i guess). Growing up, my brother told me that one day, the dead will walk the earth ... blah blah blah, dawn/day of dead nightmares could come true. He might of been scaring me like big brothers do, but nowadays with bio/chem technology, it sounds plausible. Is "return of the living dead" based on real events?

I had mastectomies, and now, three years later, I still episodically develop stinging pain in one area or another. It lasts a few weeks, then fades. It's been explained as nerve regeneration. But I thought that nerves don't regenerate. I know spinal cord injuries, for example, don't heal themselves. So what DO damaged nerves do? Can they regrow, but in the wrong place? (I wonder this because I have areas of my axilla that, when touched, cause sensation in my back.) Can they ever repair themselves? I'm curious, not concerned.

I found out my wife had cheated on me in '98 and it was 2 days before my second child was born, i don't wanna believe my first child is from her infidelity, but it is possible. she had lied about it until i had proof and confessed what she did. and even up to 2 years later was still lying about it after her confession. i don't love her anymore and have told her this, but living w/o my kids will kill me, not to mention financial issues. i still live in the house but am miserable unless i am with my kids. i also had done something i never thought possible, i developed deep feelings for a woman i met online who lives in another state, and she is unhappily married. my wife had told her husband about this situation and it has not been good for her obviously. I don't think i can ever trust my wife again and not sure if i will ever love her again. i came from divorced parent's and hate the thought of being a "weekend Dad". either path i take i will lose it seems....

For me, it's a t-shirt, short skirt, and bare feet!

Im really doing good with my therapy and my tude change has got me in good with my therapists....but these meds....OMG...how do you keep off the floor ? I never saw so many pills in my life...(well...maybe I did in my dresser )...telling the truth has made me feel embarrassed though..I feel like these med pple look at me funny somtimez...like " there she is..the one with every problem on the planet "....kinda thing....and I kind of wobble when i walk sometimes from the meds.....this place has me in " rape/trauma " therapy program....Im wondering whats going to happen to me ?...I hope its good. plz pray for me if you can and give me any advice....

TODAY I READ a newspaper article that filled me with rage and contempt. It was about the "reconciliation" that Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Maliki plans to offer the Sunni armed factions here. Maliki is reportedly considering granting a limited amnesty to Iraqi insurgents who have killed "only" Americans but no Iraqis.

To a soldier who has been deployed to this country twice already, and has been out on the street fighting insurgents, this is, plainly stated, an outrage. I take personal offense to Maliki's proposition to grant any kind of amnesty, limited or unlimited, to any insurgent who has been involved in terrorism against the United States. It seems to me as though Maliki has slapped all the families of wounded or dead soldiers in the face. How can President Bush allow this man to even say a thing like this?
