Your husband is going to have to grieve in his own way, and in his own time. The only thing you can do for him is be there for him. Be there to listen to him and pray for him. Have your shoulder handy for him to cry on....he will need that.
I am so terribly sorry for this untimely loss and have already said my prayer for him.

Understand that he is going thru a lot of emotions right now, don't ask a lot of questions, just listen if he wants to talk, lend an ear, he might want to just be left alone in his thoughts but be there, eventually he will open up and talk about it. I don't know you or him but I sympathize with your situation. Hope I was of some help

Just be there to listen and hold him. He has to work through the grief on his own,, give him a few days to sort then start suggesting things you might do together to help keep his mind off it.. Encourage him to talk about the good times they had.

Love what you should do it just to be there for him. When someone dies you close to it take a while to know that, the person is gone. So the only tip I can give is be there for him, when he want to talk or just not say anything.

There is nothing you can do or say. Let him know that you are there for him when he is ready. Give him some time. Don't try to hard, he may just need some space right now. Just love him.

all you can really do is be there for him. It is going to hurt and the hurt never goes away. u can still try and do little things to make him smile-you can bring up some of the happiest memories that he and his friend had- just be patient with him

Give him some space. Just tell him that you are there for him if he wants to talk or anything. Just keep your eyes open if things do not get better.

Just hold him, but don't tell him that everything will be ok, because that never helps. Give him some room though.
