I was watching this flick a couple of weeks ago and noticed that right before the beginning credits a statement came up saying "This movie is based upon real events" -- or something like that. Is this a joke? I have ALWAYS had an intense feeling that could be described as necrophobia (i guess). Growing up, my brother told me that one day, the dead will walk the earth ... blah blah blah, dawn/day of dead nightmares could come true. He might of been scaring me like big brothers do, but nowadays with bio/chem technology, it sounds plausible. Is "return of the living dead" based on real events?

i've always had the same freeky feeling, in fact its so intense that I dont much care to be out after dark. Sometimes if I do have to go out after dark, I run to and from my car, and I usually have a gun with me. It freaks me out. It has been said that the will walk the earth, but that will be when the world is to come to an end. But I'm planning on having my coffin covered in cement before they bury me.

No, the disclaimer is a joke.

Zombies may make for great movies but they can't happen in real life. Your muscles need a working circulatory system, heart and lungs, to provide them with oxygen and fuel, and to take away waste products. Without blood flow, the cells stop working.

"How come residing Christians get to witness the actual return of Jesus on an identical time as each and all the lifeless Christians do no longer?" have you ever tried attempting to coach/tell somebody approximately something whilst they're subconscious or in a deep sleep??

Don't worry about it hun. It is impossible for the dead to rise considering the fact that they need working organs to actually be able to live.I'm sure your brother was just acting on your phobia and there is nothing to worry about!

Um, no. It's fiction. The decomposition process is not pretty... they are not walking again, I am afraid.
