It's too big of an age difference and there are so many many people around your age that would want to be friends with you and could relate to you in experiences and way of life so much better than someone older could. It may seem hard now but this is for the best and I'm sure that's what he was thinking and was hopefully trying to do the right thing.

This man did absolutely nothing wrong. You are way too young to be friends with a man who is 35. You two can have nothing in common. He had enough sense to realize that. He could have gotten into lots of trouble if the police, or even your parents, found out. He could have been reported, and possibly ended up in jail. There are too many on-line predators! For your own sake, find someone your own age to talk to on here.

You're too young to be having a friendship with a man that age, I think it says a bit about his integrity as a person that he's pulling back. Be thankful that he knows his place, you should be spending time online with girls and boys your own age not someone old enough to be your daddy...almost!

He's a grown up & he can make his own decisions. He probably doesn't want to persue a realationship online due to the fact that anyone can contort what's happening. There are thousand's of people your own age to get out there & talk to- Enjoy life- don't waste it on someone who's wife probably wants him offline.

Sweetheart,
My name is Brandy I am 32 and when I was your age I seemed to be attracted to older people including men.I think it is because we may lack the parental figure in our lives. Mabe you dont have a good relationship with your dad.
There are people who can help you and if you want to email me, I will certainly help find these organizations that can help you. One organization is Big Brothers Big Sisters. If you are in the USA they should be in your phone book or look them up online.
It may be hard for you to understand, but breaking off the friendhip on his behalf is for your best interest
35 yr old men should not be having a friendship with 14 yr olds online. At 14 you think your 20 and even think like a 20 yr old, but when you are older you will understand how older men think especially when they are having a friendship with a 14 yr old.
Cherish your youth, go out and find girlfriends your age. As cooky as this may seem many churches have youth groups where you can find lots of friends and they do many activities. Go to summer camp!
Dont be sad over this relationship ending, look at it as a blessing.
Someday when the time is right you will meet a man, get married and he will sweep you off your feet. But that will only happen with patients. If you keep looking for it now you are only going to attract people with wrong intentions on their minds. In this case the 35 yr old knew better.
A very smart man. He must be watching that TV show called Dateline where men are caught solicting young girls. Those guys got in big trouble for even chatting and attempting to have relationships with younger girls. Most of them got Jail time and they lost their jobs and even families.
Focus on your education and forget socializing with older men for now.
I got myself in a heep of trouble when I was younger. I was attracted to people I should not have been messing with and it almost cost me my life. I wish I could go back and just be a kid. I didnt enjoy being young because I was to busy trying to be grown up. Now I can't go back and enjoy those days. I canonly look to the future.
I really respect this man who is 35 for cutting the relationship off. because he could get in a heep of trouble.Even if it ws all innocent the government does not look at it that way and one wrong word could land him in jail-
He is looking out for his better interest and yours.
Please! Please!
Stay away from the internet if you are looking for adult friendships. You can find Great Adult figures in your church, school, School Counselor, and mabe even your family( but not the internet.) You just can't trust it. What may sound and seem like candy can be poison!!!
It is so dangerous and you have your whole life ahead of you-
I am sure at 14 yrs old I am not giving you the answers you would like to hear, but I just hope and pray you will just consider what I have said and the others who have posted here as answers to your question.
Best Regards-

You should post this in the relationship section, not the make-up section. Also you should stick to people your own age. You are too young to understand
