I understand stereotypes are generalizations, but it's said they come from a shred of truth. Here's the synopsis of the movie A Wake In Providence: "Going back home can be hard, particularly when you come from a traditional Italian family, and especially when the girlfriend you bring back is not Italian. But the roof caves in when she's African American. This is the problem that Anthony faces when he brings Alissa from Los Angeles to his boyhood home of Providence, Rhode Island to attend his grandfather's funeral."

Are Italians really that racist? Why? So many of them are mixed with African blood, especially in the South. They aren't really white.

I posed a simular question to them, you should see some of the very strange answers. Most of them thought that because I am NOT a homo., I am mentally disturbed and very sad. The opposite is true, I am very mentally stable (according to my last evaluation just before retiering from 22 years of WORKING at a mental hospital) and verry happy (according to all my friends in the fine singles condo I live in).

My boyfriend and I are DYING to have some time alone from everyone...but there is a problem since his cousin moved in from fl, ( moved into his house...my bf lives with his parents) we've been stuck with him ever since! It's been since Feb. Even when we plan on going places by OURSELVES if he mentions it to one of his parents...they're always like "Take Michael with you!" and crap and if he dont he gets griped out. I'm sick of that crap! Can someone please help me get rid of this annoying tag along????

I've tried setting him up with people... they can't stand him either. He isnt making any friends at all...he's so lazy & annoying no one wants to be around him

I just read an article about Florida motorcycle deaths rising. I ride myself and find that car drivers do not watch where they are going. Not to stereotype, BUT... I have seen this with my own eyes. Drivers on cell phones are the worst.

My ex-gf loves her boyfriend, but ironically, is so unhappy with the way he treats her sometimes and takes her for granted. When she was with me, I offered her something so much better, but moving a far distance ended our relationship. Now we're living in the same area again, she's back with this guy who I mentioned above (who hates me because he know she had such a wonderful time with me during our time together).

I feel kinda terrible for her. She often calls me crying and I just talk to her, try to get her to tell me whats bothering her and just keep her on the phone so she'll be able to take her mind off of it for a little bit. She continues to hang out with this guy, despite the fact he treats her like dirt sometimes.

It continues and I feel like "if you don't wanna help yourself (by talking to him/finally breaking up with him [which may be difficult because they're both very insecure]) then I can't keep helping you.

Alright.. I need some quality lyrics for my away mssg.

I'm ripping my store bought CD's using the software that came with my Creative Nomad Jukebox. By default it rips them at
MP3, Stereo, Constant Bitrate, 128 kbps. Should I increase the 128 kbps to a higher setting? Should I change the bitrate to Varible? Why? Thanks

I have a wonderful committed relationship with a guy I absolutely love and will be getting married to next year. He's sheer magic in bed and I'm the selfish one. I'ne not got around to giving him a 'u know what' yet. I can't deal with the strong smell somehow and the stickiness. I prefer him going at me instead of vice versa.
