If he's in the house try this:
Get an empty 5 gallon bucket and a board he can walk on. Set the bucket down on the floor (as if it were still full) and put food in the bottom of it. Try an apple or orange, something that smells good. Put the board on the side, like a ladder, and leave it overnight. Hopefully, he will want the food and jump in, is so he won't be able to get out again.
If he's outside, have a funeral, he's gone.

Look in Dark places. They sleep in the Day and the little fella will be under something like a Couch, Pillow, Drapes etc, Start on the floor then look higher up.

the best way to catch a hamster is put the cage on the floor with the door open and put a whole carrott by the door, at night the hamster will come to the carrot and start nibbling on it, then u can catch her. good luck

when mine got lost, i placed some food on the floor, and as he was transfering it to his new "home" he dropped some seeds n without knowing he created a path. Try it. I hope i helped you.

put a like ten pieces of food in every room, close the doors and if a room is missing some food, the hamster's probably in there

here is what you do, first this may sound dumb, but put some lettuce or fresh veggies in a bucket the get a ramp or somthing so it can get in the bucket then wait for it to smell the veggies and it will go into the bucket

My old hamster (when I was a kid) used to hide under my bed, in front of the warm heating vent...so cute*

Well Where you lost him look there but if you dont know how it got out then take lettus or carrots but if you have cats it might be dead or will be soon but i f not jist keep looking
