couple of brown spouts in the microwave. Can anyone tell me whether it is ruinen? Is it ok to use it?

Wow. This is certainly an exciting question (finally!)
I think if you just wipe out the spots and give your microwave time to cool down, everything should be okay. And tell your grandchild never to place alumninum, or any metal for that matter, in the microwave.

The microwave should be fine, the magnetron ( the thing that makes the microwave work ) in the microwave is slightly weaker now, but no one would notice.

I would call the manufacturer because absolutely nothing metal what so ever not even a tiny tiny amount of any type of metal can be put in the microwave.

Not a good thing the microwave could have exploded and the whole house could have gone in flames next time make sure that your watching your grandchild.

I don't recommend that you use this microwave again you should go and get another one. Have you tried to turn it back on if you haven't you shouldn't. A crock pot did this to me once and it totally died but the problem was with the plug.

it is safe to use just clean it out with a damp rag and every thing will be fine my newfew put max box cars in a mircowave once and it was not pretty but it still worked after that

Look at the microwave packaging to make sure if you can use it or not.

its fine my son put a metal pan in it trying to heat something up just wipe it out and it should work fine

Try it and see. One time my kids did that. And it still worked.

I wouldn't recommend it. There are detectors you can buy that will check for leaks but I'd not want to risk it.....
