I posed a simular question to them, you should see some of the very strange answers. Most of them thought that because I am NOT a homo., I am mentally disturbed and very sad. The opposite is true, I am very mentally stable (according to my last evaluation just before retiering from 22 years of WORKING at a mental hospital) and verry happy (according to all my friends in the fine singles condo I live in).

Be what you gotta be, but don't ruin a great word like gay!! that is my main objection to homosexuals. They have ruined a word that can't be replaced by any other word. Happy just doesn't explain how you feel when you are gay. If you express yourself as being gay you will be very misunderstood. A lot of younger folks don't even remember what gay really means. It means "euphoricly happy" (as happy as it gets) . Now tell me that a queer claiming that they are gay isn't redulious. Call yourself what you are if you are so proud of it !!!

Since you work at a mental hospital you probably meet only unhappy people. By the tone of your question, you sound like you would not believe a happy gay person could exist even if you met one (or a dozen). Well, hate to tell you, but they do. There are happy or sad gay people just like there are happy or sad straight people. Oh, and you should be happy according to yourself, not according to your single friends or some paper eval.

Yes, Many times. I am not gay but I worked as a driver/salesman in the wholesale flower industry for 5 years and almost without exception found the many gay people in that industry to be THE HAPPIEST people I've ever met. You, on the other hand, seem to be trying too hard to prove that you are sane and happy and that is usually a sign of problems. Just chill out and worry about your life, not other peoples.

1) Yes....I have met many happy queers. Fun people. Gay!
2) It's not that you're NOT gay that makes people (in general) think you're mentally disturbed....it's what comes from your brain to your mouth and/or keyboard that pretty much closes the deal.
3) Let's see...you can't spell...you're straight, retired...alone...and you've recently had a mental evaluation.........
Hmmmmm........

I can only think of one that wasn't happy, and I've known and worked with alot of gay and lesbian people! The one that wasn't happy or nice was a lawyer...go figure! And why must we catagorize people by what goes on behind closed doors by consenting adults? I love the gay community, their educated, friendly, real people with big hearts!! Go rainbow people! YEA!!!

I prefer women, but I know some gay people. They all seem quite well-adjusted and normal. Other than their sexual habits, (which they don't air in public), I find them to be as ordinary as anyone else I know.

easily it isn't that complicated once you start up to comprehend it. a lengthy time period in the past i presumed that love became some thing that you reserved for some particular set of those that you had judged worth of it. After a lengthy time period I were given to questioning about what Jesus had suggested about turning the different cheek and loving our neighbor I positioned both jointly and realized that he had made no exceptions in those statements. It grew to develop into glaring to me that he meant that we exclude no human being from the affection that we are meant to be giving. i began questioning about my idea of love and abruptly realized that I had no longer been loving absolutely everyone in any respect. I had in simple terms been judging each body and each and each element. Judging someone worth of love isn't love, that is in undemanding words judgment. i easily began to cry at the same time as i realized this. I noted in simple terms how a lot of my existence I had wasted being judgmental, deliberating myself as a Christian, at the same time as i became easily doing in simple terms the different of what Jesus had requested us to do. i presumed about the verse choose no longer lest ye be judged, and that i understood it for the first time. i realized that I easily have a good number of catching as a lot as do. any such enormous quantity of opportunities were wasted. I now attempt to practice the affection that I easily have for the international in a universal way like Jesus asks us to do. If I start up to experience afraid and imagine that I see someone that I might want to no longer love because of a few thing I easily have idea or heard i attempt to capture my mistake once plausible. I tell myself that I easily have forgot the reality and performance fallen for an same old trick that had fee me any such enormous quantity of opportunities to be loving contained in the previous. The horror of this understanding is frequently all it truly is critical to convey me decrease back to my senses and make me drop the judgmental nonsense i became questioning. I nonetheless have plenty to be taught about love, yet a minimum of I’m making progression. Love and advantages Your brother don
