I'm generally a pacifist, but love military history, particularly World War II. My shelf is stocked (or was) with plastic models of 1/48, 1/72, and 1/35 tanks and planes from that conflict.

A friend with chickens gives me eggs, but sometime I am unable to pick them up until later in the day. As she gathers from the chickens, she refrigerates the eggs, then on the day that I am to pick them up, set sets them outside and I come and pick them up. If I pick them up later, while they've been in the sun, are they still safe to use? When I bring them home, I put them in the refrigerator. I check them for freshness and they always seem to be fresh. Thank you.

I read the following quote this morn. Does it ring true to you? Can you explain why or why not?

I am 39 married for 17 years with three kids (2 sons and daughter aged 3) and a loving supportive and gentle husband. I have been very lucky and I am scared that something worse and very ugly is going to happen due to my own stupidity and selfishness. I have allowed infidelity to crape-into my marital life, thoughtless to say the least. I have secretly engaged in casual sexual activities and hoped that I do not get caught; it seemed such a great idea then because I selfishly wanted to have fun and a bit of adventure outside marriage and lust got the better of me. My husband neither drink nor smoke and he is a principled, decent person whom I have taken for granted. I have had casual drinks with friends at social gatherings just for fun and I know he wouldn’t approve such behaviour. I have engaged in sexual dates during my lunchtime at the hotels/homes and at times after work. Hes been asking probing questions these days & fear that he knows something.Should I confess & ask 4 4giveness

talking about the past crusades by christians is not an answer to todays problems. muslims are killing people now. today in iraq muslims blew up 23 fellow muslims in a mosque.
i never heard of christians , hindus, jews or buddhists murdering innocent people today. but musims did.
where are the so called islamic apologists?

I live in San Antonio, TX and was sitting in my backyard late one night and noticed a stirring in the yard. I had the flashlight, and shined it over there, and it looked like a GIGANTIC RAT!!!! long tail, greyish in color, long nose, CREEPY!!!

It was over a foot and a half long and chubby, with about a 12 inch tail... (get your mind out of the gutter!) lol

I walked swiftly in the house and checked the door behind me and told myself it was NOT A GIGANTIC SCARY NEW YORK SEWER RAT!!!

I know the cockroaches "water bugs" (I guess naming them that makes it more tolerable) are supposed to be big in TX but had no idea that there were rats this big.

Someone please help! someone tell me honestly it was something else that is popular and running around in the backyards of northeast San Antonio! and what is his/her identification/species/name?????

I have been down for a long time (years now) It all started when I was involved in an accident and injured my spine. This puts me in almost constant pain,which I take meds for. It also caused me to lose my job (I loved) for 14 years.Now I am now somewhat disabled and do what I can to make ends meet,with ebay and things like that. I have so much more to offer this world and cant stand myself anymore for not having the courage to make a change for myself. I am on welbutrin and it does`nt do a thing for me.I have ot take ambein to sleep as my mind never stops,all I do is think or what I could be and why i`m not. I wish there was something or someone who could help me. If someone out there feels like emailing me maybe we could help eachother ?
