I read the following quote this morn. Does it ring true to you? Can you explain why or why not?
"A body of a Master is just one small part of the One God, but because of The Oneness Principle this small part is a mouthpiece for the One God. What does it mean when it says, "man is the tabernacle of God"? It means that just as the body of the One God is the Universe, the body of man is a creation of the mind of God and, as such, contains a universe within it."

It's Saturday morning and my brain is still recovering from a long week of work(LOL) but yes, this quote rings true to me mithra. It's an amazing quote also. I've read that if you could look at the body(or any form in this world from a car to a leaf) with quantum glasses on, you'd see at a sub-atomic level particles that float in what looks like nothing. Science--and the Buddha 2500 years ago-- tells us that form is just condensed matter. Nothing is solid but only appears to be so. Our brains interpret this to be so. Everything is made up of the same substance. I think with this quote a better term instead of "God" would be Source or Energy. I don't know how the body works but it does seem to have a intelligence of it's own. I don't have to think about digesting my food or think of the many other things the body does on it's own. How does it know how to heal a cut by itself? There seems to be an intelligence at work here. It seems the quote is saying that all these forms(bodies, plants, EVERY form in the universe) is made of the same substance. It's as if this one energy decided one day to split itself and create matter and form. All the forms would appear seperate but underneath it would still be the same energy. Maybe the purpose of doing this would be to explore itself? for the experience of what it would feel like being a leaf or a mineral or a human? or for the joy of getting lost in the role and drama and then realizing it was all a game to begin with? I dunno but it seems certain that boundaries exist on the external level but not at a quantum or even "spiritual" level. From certain experiences and insights I've had this is the truth. The quote seems to be saying that we ARE that source. We are God. We are the universe, it's just we're "tricked" into thinking we're seperate. Very thought provoking question! I'm certainly awake now. lol

We can be lively stones of the building of God even if our earthly tabernacle is dissolved (1 Peter 2:5, 2 Corinthians 5:1-4).

Jerusalem isn't a mundane city. old Jerusalem began in Eden and is that old regulation device. study Mat 23 for evidence. Jerusalem is responsible of shedding all the righteous blood in the international, starting up with the death of ABEL. So old Jerusalem became decrease back there with Cain and Adam. Now take it to the proper, in Rev 18. There the secret Babylon is instructed the exact same words, proving they're one and an same...old regulation device, which God hates. So New Jerusalem is likewise a non secular team of human beings. it all started on the Day of Pentecost. God got here and dwelt contained in the hearts of those Holy Ghost crammed New Jerusalem individuals. it continues to be the following. Heaven and earth exist jointly. Our earthly body is earth; our religious existence is heaven, or the hot Jerusalem. It got here out of heaven on the day of Pentecost and crammed those first individuals, the 120 in that top room. too a lot carnality will blind all who attempt to understand Scripture from an insignificant human element of view. Heaven is contained in the Spirit. God is a Spirit. He indwells us./me.

Jesus promised us that He would send the Comforter (i.e. The Holy Spirit). He would dwell within our hearts, where He would help us to grow in grace throughout our lives.
Now, if God (a.k.a. The Holy Spirit) is dwelling within a person's heart, that would make that person a "Tabernacle of God", that is, a dwelling place for God.

When God's Holy Spirit bears witness with my spirit I am then filled with God's Holy Spirit and He dwells within me. I am therefore a tabernacle of God's Spirit.
This was not possible until Jesus died and was risen. Jesus said "I go away but I will send a Comforter in my place". When we are filled with God's Spirit (the Comforter) we know we are the children of God.

as is the human intelligence so is the cosmic intelligence.....
you have a brain n an ability to think.....
look around.....look at the intelligence of nature.....mindblowing isnt it???????????
what the paragraph means...is that we are a tiny part of the spectacular cosmic phenomenon.....
a small expression part of the ultimate cosmic expression......finally there is no distinction.......everything is one whole cosmic spirit!!!!!!!!!!!!!
there are several dimensions to our existence.....physical existence is just one aspect of it.....
the other is cosmic existence.....
thats what defines our abilities towards paranormal talent....
we tap into that cosmic field...and build metaphysical skills.....like telepathy, psychokinesis etc....
the trick lies in breaking from the shell of your spiritual existence into the cosmic existence......which you are already a part of in the unconscious or the sub conscious state...
