I had a high risk pregnancy with my first son and ended up having to have a c-section. I am now 36 weeks pregnant and am told I will need another c-section. Due to the risk and the size of the baby. I feel like I am missing out on something wonderful.

Does anyone else who has had to have a nessasary c-section feel they are not really a good mom or they have missed out on something?

I know that this is essential so that I have a healthy baby and less risk on him. But I just wish I could have had my children natural.

My friend and I have a bet. He says every word in the English language contains at least one vowel. It is my contention that I remember there being one word that exists that isn't an abreveation that doesn't contain a vowel. I want to say it was three letters long. Any English majors out there that can settle this?

Under what circumstances would you get an abortion?

I've always been very open to the idea of getting an abortion if I got pregnant, but that was back when I was having sex with guys that didn't really mean much to me.

Now that I am with the love of my life, I couldn't possibly kill our child.

1. The virgin birth (Isaiah 7:14)
This verse is part of a prophecy that Isaiah relates to King Ahaz regarding the fate of the two kings threatening Judah at that time and the fate of Judah itself. In the original Hebrew, the verse says that a "young woman" will give birth, not a "virgin" which is an entirely different Hebrew word. The young woman became a virgin only when the Hebrew word was mistranslated into Greek.

This passage obviously has nothing to do with Jesus (who, if this prophecy did apply to him, should have been named Immanuel instead of Jesus).

do you try to present a more diplomatic approach? Or are you like, " Feelings or no feelings, I'm going straight for the jugular!" Myself? Depending upon the argument, I typically try to find a diplomatic solution........at first.

If this girl was very attractive but she dated a friend of yours for a couple of weeks a long time ago, would that be a reason you would choose not to call her?Especially since he is a big strong guy whom threatened anyone who would talk or touch her that he would beat them up during their short relationship.

What would be some other reasons for you not to call this girl you are attracted to??

Luke has Mary and Joseph travelling from their home in Nazareth in Galilee to Bethlehem in Judea for the birth of Jesus (Luke 2:4). Matthew, in contradiction to Luke, says that it was only after the birth of Jesus that Mary and Joseph resided in Nazareth, and then only because they were afraid to return to Judea (Matthew 2:21-23).

In order to have Jesus born in Bethlehem, Luke says that everyone had to go to the city of their birth to register for the census. This is absurd, and would have caused a bureaucratic nightmare. The purpose of the Roman census was for taxation, and the Romans were interested in where the people lived and worked, not where they were born (which they could have found out by simply asking rather than causing thousands of people to travel).

If your religion cannot stand up to these questions why should I devote my life to a lie?

Why do I see the world through these eyes? How am I me, intrinsically? I feel seperate from my physical self. Why am I the one driving the figurative train? What is this conscious state of being that I seem to be aware of? Why was I not born in my brother's skin? Ultimately, explain consciousness.
