I am a religious person and I believe that God would help us if we have a strong faith in him. But what about relationship with someone? We can ask God to make someone like us...can't we?

It alarms me the rumors ive heard of Hillary Clinton being the next president of the U.S. That would be terrible, she is in no way qualified, and I hate to think what would happen if she got it. John baptized for repentance (Matthew 3:11). Since Jesus was supposedly without sin, he had nothing to repent of. The fact that he was baptized by John has always been an embarrassment to the church. The gospels offer no explanation for Jesus' baptism, apart from the meaningless explanation given in Matthew 3:14-15 "to fulfill all righteousness." Other passages, which indicate that Jesus did not consider himself sinless, are also an embarrassment to the church (Mark 10:18, Luke 18:19).

Luke, who claims to be chronological (Luke 1:3), tries to give the impression that John did not baptize Jesus. Luke's account of Jesus' baptism occurs after the account of John's imprisonment (Luke 3:20-21).

I'm sorry I just can't have faith in a Religion with so many problems. I can't devote my life to the lies!

When I read about Ann Coulter¹s new book "Godless: The Church of Liberalism" and her diatribe against the 9/11 widows, I thought to myself, "Where is the Martin Luther King, Jr. of the Christian Right? Where is the guy or gal who fervently believes in and fights for his positions, yet offers his hand in reconciliation to his opponents, hoping to change their hearts?" ...Is there any right-wing follower of Jesus out there who isn¹t condemning the left wholesale?
