How often do you talkl to him? Everyday? If so.. make yourself unavailable for a few days. When you do finally speak to him again.. you should be able to tell how he feels by his concern of where you might have been.. or his excitement that he is suddenly with you again at the moment.

You should just ask him.If he says no than you can just be like oh someone told me you did, I was just wondering since I would hate things to be awkward between us.

Body Language and Eye contact. If he leans in to talk to you, does whatever he can to "feel" your presence, then you got yourself a winner.
