Uranus was always pronounced "Yer-A-nus" (making it funny), but lately it has changed to "Yur-iniss" (which is not funny).

What's the deal? Science can't handle a little joke?

I for one will always cling to "Yer-A-nus"...what about you?

It seems like a majority of people dislike him now. I did not vote for him but I will support my country all the way
I know he has made a few boners but just try to live anywhere else.
I am an independant because politics have become too partisined.
If you love your country, support it! If you don't try somewhere else for a year and see how good it is here. No other country in the world has over indulgence like we do.

i went to the dr, after i missed my first period and the test came back negative....and now i have missed the second period is it possible the test was wrong? i dont feel sick sick...but i am tired and hungry alot..i mean i scarfed down 6 hotdogs in 5 minutes the other day.

Im trying to get back with my ex, we have been apart for 2 months, things were getting better but they are not that good again.. in school i studied with an old friend of mine and his women friend...i had both their phone numbers in my cell and when my girlfriend asked me who she was i lied to her until i told her the truth. It was stupid, the girl wasnt even a friend, we studied 4 times together before our test and me one time alone with her just to view a test she had one time when my friend was not there, all this was before our test in the college library....how can i get her back when she doesnt trust me?.. she told me she felt sorry for me thats why she gave me a chance to be her boyfriend.... we were together for a year and 5 months.. she always told me she loved me and we were always together... what can i do? do you think she really meant it about feeling sorry for me? she thinks i cheated on her, i never did..she says even if i didnt, that what i did is bad enough...

I believe God is us. When I pray I meditate and bring fourth what I can give myself and not literally ask God to give it to me. Really I'm doing the same but with a different perspective. I believe in Self and so I believe we offer ourselves and create our own experiences, nothing is b/c God wills it. It's b/c you chose it. A beautiful thing called free will.
Anyone else see it as that?

The Pope had been diagnosed as having a potentially fatal testicular disease and after treatment he was told that he had to have sex with a woman to confirm that the treatment had been fully successful. He called all his Cardinals together and told them what he had to be done and they agreed it was necessary. The Pope said he would go ahead with it but insisted on four conditions. "Firstly", he said " the girl has to be blind so she cannot see it's the Holy Father and tell the whole world" "Secondly, she must be deaf so that she doesn't recognize the Holy Father's voice and tell the whole world" "Thirdly, as a precaution, she has to be dumb so she cannot tell the whole world anyway" At this point one of the Cardinals stood up and said " Leave it to me Holy Father, I know just the woman for you" As the Cardinal was about to leave the Pope said " wait a moment, I told you there are four conditions". He beckoned the Cardinal over and as the Cardinal bent down towards him, the Pope whispered in his ear ... "Big ****!".

If I make a comment against George W. Bush people instantly attack me and call me an idiot for supporting Kerry or Gore or Clinton, etc. I am not a Democrat or Republican (I am a libertarian and have voted for other various third parties). Therefore in this details section here i always have to tell people that before they jump to a wild assumption. And when I criticize the Yankees, people instantly assume that I am a red Sox fan and answer with "Red Sox" suck. So then again in the details section I have to type that i am a fan of neither and I am a Brewers fan (and the truly DO suck). What is it with people and assumptions? Why does everything have to be either or? Black or white? You get my point. Why is it so hard to discuss the issue at hand without some accusing you of being on a certain team?

We live in the mtns. and have bats living in the attic. Bats are a protected species in California -- YIKES!!!. How can we get rid of them easily. We are looking for a sound-wave devise that they may not like or something else. HELP....and suggestions would be appreciated.

for 4 and half years i had to deal with a person claiming to be a friend but she always put me down always insulting me but i really found out she was after my husband and his money among other things we found out the hard way that she and her man has done alot of this in 15 years my man like her man but found out they are alike she has spread stuff around saying that we are loafers and spongers but it was she that was taking people for a long ride we spent about $1200.00 in 4 years but us and a few other people whom she took advantage of there is a total of $50,000.00 without paying back a penny but i just want to know can we get this life back or just go on and forget
