I believe God is us. When I pray I meditate and bring fourth what I can give myself and not literally ask God to give it to me. Really I'm doing the same but with a different perspective. I believe in Self and so I believe we offer ourselves and create our own experiences, nothing is b/c God wills it. It's b/c you chose it. A beautiful thing called free will.
Anyone else see it as that?

More people need to realize this. We are all a part of God, therefore we are all Gods and we are all connected. We are all co-creators of reality.

4 "Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation?
Tell me, if you understand.

5 Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!
Who stretched a measuring line across it?

6 On what were its footings set,
or who laid its cornerstone-

7 while the morning stars sang together
and all the angels [a] shouted for joy?

8 "Who shut up the sea behind doors
when it burst forth from the womb,

9 when I made the clouds its garment
and wrapped it in thick darkness,

10 when I fixed limits for it
and set its doors and bars in place,

11 when I said, 'This far you may come and no farther;
here is where your proud waves halt'?

12 "Have you ever given orders to the morning,
or shown the dawn its place,

13 that it might take the earth by the edges
and shake the wicked out of it?

14 The earth takes shape like clay under a seal;
its features stand out like those of a garment.

15 The wicked are denied their light,
and their upraised arm is broken.

16 "Have you journeyed to the springs of the sea
or walked in the recesses of the deep?

17 Have the gates of death been shown to you?
Have you seen the gates of the shadow of death [b] ?

18 Have you comprehended the vast expanses of the earth?
Tell me, if you know all this.

19 "What is the way to the abode of light?
And where does darkness reside?

20 Can you take them to their places?
Do you know the paths to their dwellings?

21 Surely you know, for you were already born!
You have lived so many years!

22 "Have you entered the storehouses of the snow
or seen the storehouses of the hail,

23 which I reserve for times of trouble,
for days of war and battle?

24 What is the way to the place where the lightning is dispersed,
or the place where the east winds are scattered over the earth?

25 Who cuts a channel for the torrents of rain,
and a path for the thunderstorm,

26 to water a land where no man lives,
a desert with no one in it,

27 to satisfy a desolate wasteland
and make it sprout with grass?

28 Does the rain have a father?
Who fathers the drops of dew?

29 From whose womb comes the ice?
Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens

30 when the waters become hard as stone,
when the surface of the deep is frozen?

31 "Can you bind the beautiful [c] Pleiades?
Can you loose the cords of Orion?

32 Can you bring forth the constellations in their seasons [d]
or lead out the Bear [e] with its cubs?

33 Do you know the laws of the heavens?
Can you set up God's [f] dominion over the earth?

34 "Can you raise your voice to the clouds
and cover yourself with a flood of water?

35 Do you send the lightning bolts on their way?
Do they report to you, 'Here we are'?

36 Who endowed the heart [g] with wisdom
or gave understanding to the mind [h] ?

37 Who has the wisdom to count the clouds?
Who can tip over the water jars of the heavens

38 when the dust becomes hard
and the clods of earth stick together?

39 "Do you hunt the prey for the lioness
and satisfy the hunger of the lions

40 when they crouch in their dens
or lie in wait in a thicket?

when its young cry out to God
and wander about for lack of food?(Job38:4-41)

I agree. We are part of God, we are experiencing be human and living life for God. We do create our own experiences, bad things happen to people because that person chose to have that experience in order to learn from it. God did not cause it.

GOD is the CREATOR
HE Created us in HIS IMAGE and LIKENESS
We are not CREATORS, we are a little below GOD, JESUS called us Gods(Spiritual Beings that can chose their own words to speak----Satan tried this(he did not have the authority to chose his own words) and got kicked out of HEAVEN for it.)
The CREATOR is a GOD too!!!
We have special talents and abilities we can use (most of us don't know about them), and we can change our future using them.
The CREATOR wants us to get Spiritually RE-CONNECTED to HIM (get SAVED, Born-Again etc. through JESUS as SAVIOUR) so that we can use these talents and abilities the RIGHT WAY.(have a GOOD life on EARTH) and then end up in HEAVEN with HIM!!! Have a Nice Day!!!!!!!

God has given us free choice, we dont have free will. If I will to run away from the domain of God, i cannot.

O ye assembly of Jinns and men! If it be ye can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, pass ye! not without authority shall ye be able to pass! Then which of the favours of your Lord will ye deny? (QURAN 55:33-34)

There is only 1 God. To find his name please read in the Bible Psalms 83:18

To know what God's will is read Genesis 1:26-30

As for us as Humans, We can't even tell where we are going.

Jeremaih 10:23 says "O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in hmself: it is in man that walketh to direct his steps."

No matter what anyone "believes"
God's purpose will be fulfilled.

I like that "notthemamas1" listed Job chapter 38, that is one of my personal favorite passages.

If anybody looks up these scriptures and wants to discuss them please email me at j0hnny_8oy@yahoo.com

Thanks

God is in us...but with that realization, we must also dissipate the ego/sense of individuality that is so hard to let go...Adam/Satan exalted themselves as God, but they did not vanish the sense of I-ness...once we do this and see the world and beyond as one with us, then there is pure freedom, nothing to fear...absolute Godhood..heaven and earth....

In my faith, I see things very similarly to you. When you do a ritual/spell asking for help from the Lord and Lady, it's not so they can solve your problems FOR you. It's for guidance and strength to correct what needs fixing. In ritual, we draw energies from ourselves and from whatever is being used in that spell, and use those energies to help us accomplish our goals.

Funny, that's what Satan did before his fall, that's what Adam & Eve did before their fall, come to think of it everytime we exalt ourselves above God we eventially see that we are only human with faults and flaws.

Yes God is you....

but be careful not to assume that there is only you (solipism...look it up)

all is you..not just you

The I before divine union is the I and the we..the I after union is I..as there is no we there is only I
