I know exactly how u feel cuz i've been in several mixed relationships and my people are the same way ,how old r u? Cuz i was a teen and i kept my relations a secret and trust me it is a miserable life 2 live . So when they found out i just stood my ground and now even though i know they dont go 4 it at least they just accept my preferences now. i dont know if it would b the same 4 u. But just stand ur ground . But it is a hard road to go down!! If u think u can handle it ,do ur thing

you don't, some people in my family are racist, if they found out I got in a mixed relationship they would honestly probably kill me. Your parents are racist they won't respect him no matter what you say or do, your in a relationship with someone other than your ethnicity, it wont work with your parents.

That happened in my family but it was my grandparents that where racist so it is a little different but we just sat them down and my cousin told them that she met this wounderful guy and he means the world to her and then she told them he was black my grandpa took it horrible but now they they actually like each other and he got use to the idea and now my cousin is going to probably marry him.... Good Luck.....If your happy that is all that matters...they might not like it at first but they will get use to the idea

You don't tell them a thing. For to be a racist, they already have troubles enough, and they will never understand - no matter what you tell them

If you are of age.. Let them know that you have a significant other that is another culture...
Let them know you love them, and that you respect them, but that you have to live your life... And that they have to respect whatever decisions you make in your life.
Explain to them, that everyone is equal and the same. Color is just a color, and that you cannot be like them...
If they are Christians, they should know that God loves every one, not just one race...
If they love and trust you they will understand, but at the same time be prepared for them to disown you...
GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS!

Tell them that you won't handle their racism any more... say that everyone is the same inside and you `can't judge someone by the pigments in their skin. racism wont get them anywhere and if they dont have the heart to believe it, thats their problem. you shouldnt have to keep your relationship a secret though! if their no okay with it, remember, its their problem not yours!!

Keep it to yourself. No reason to DESTROY your parents image of you and themselves for that matter. Trust me, I would feel like a TOTAL failure if my daughter allowed someone other than a white man to even touch her hand. It is sick and disgusting for races to mix.

Be honest . They will find out . Its best if it comes from you. You do not wont some one else to tell them and catch them off guard they will be very angry about not being told by you.
