I'm 40, attractive, and a Christian female with hopes of getting married. Most of the men now seem to look for "women who are still playing the games." I have desired marriage for a long time. I'm beginning to give up hope.......any advice?

My best buddy is a man, but did cheat on his wife. She found out about it, and he decided to quit all together (which was good). But then she started cheating on him w/ a co-worker of hers. He found out and confronted her...she said she would stop and concentrate on the marriage. He then looked @ the phone records, and found out they were still communicating (maybe even seeing each other outside of the job). My friend then told her that they needed to seek counseling. They did, but now he thinks that their marriage is perfect now. I haven't told him my doubts about it, but I somehow feel like she is trying to make it seem like the marriage is back on track now, just until he is back in his comfort zone, and then she will start the cheating again. What do you guys think about it. I want to be positive for my friend, but know cheating relationship don't heal that quickly!

Her work friends are calling her asking her why she quit she wont even talk to them. She wont even tell her family (mother and sisters) she quit her job. she's lying to them telling them she's still working. I cant even enjoy our new home because i may not be able to afford it. I the maid of honor for a bride whom I barely know. I thought it would be fun, but as I get to know her, I find I do not like her. She is possessive over me with other female friends, she puts my hubby and I down in front of others by telling them we have "issues" and that her relationship of four months is much more solid, and the other night she lifted up my skirt in front of a barroom while I was shooting darts. I was wearing a thong and totally embarressed even though they were all women. Last night she called me at 1:30AM to ***** about something that happened with her daughter. I told her unless she was dying, do not call me at that time again. I want to get out of the duties of being a maid of honor because I don't want to be associated with this person but am afraid I will cause a bunch of drama. I am a yankee in a small southern town. How do I tell her without hurting her feelings and creating drama? She is totally unstable and I really don't know what she will do.

he makes $27 an hour, he is a Corrections Officer. ( But he also has child support for kids from his previous marriage.) I cant afford an apartment, car, and to have to start all over. I feel as though I should take the furniture when I go, but why do I feel guilty about that? I really truly wont be able to afford much of anything.

And because he hides things and lies so much I cant say well, lets just put this behind us and work on our marriage.
but I feel guilty about taking anything from him at all, furniture or monetarily.

Am I nuts! or just going nuts?
