Me and My dad dont get along together and im afraid of him cause he use to be in the military and is very strict. He use to use a pattle on us to teach us a lesson and when he got mad sometimes he would push me and my brother around. Now me and him get along a little better now that im 15 and not young anymore what should i do still stay with my dad who im afraid to do certain things with him around or should i move in with my mom full time! i love my dad but i dont want to live with someone that im scared of or cant feel safe living there!! My mom is really nice but she also punishs me for bad grades or things i do that are wrong but she is always there for me when i need her!!! (PLZ BE SERIOUS) thank you very much!

I want to live around other young professionals in an area with nightlife/ restaurants/ shopping. I also would like to minimze my commute if possible, but enjoying where I live is more important to me than commute and cost. I have been considering taking the BART in from san francisco. Is this a good option or is there another city/ area nearby that would also be good. Any informaiton would be really helpful, I need to move very soon. Thanks in advance.

I know I read the bible, and their is still much for me to learn and understand, but their is NO place in the bible that says Jesus was Married to Mary Mag. or had anything close to Sex.

Where are people getting this trash from?

And even if he was, what does that have to do with anything?

He made this world, he can do anything he want to agree?

I have been friends with a guy for 3 years and we're both in our 30's. When we met, there was no romance involved and there never was. We both have stood by each other through trials and tribulations of the workplace, family and relationships, and whatever has come through our lives. At the latest, he met a girl whom he met a month ago. Two weeks later, he moved into her place. A week later, he proposed to her and she accepted. I never said anything to him, but was shocked at his behavior, since this was not like him. Today, I talked to him and he asked me what I thought. I said he was rushing things and he needs to take his time, since he has been married and divorced once, engaged again but the wedding never went through, and now he's in this current relationship. He said I was being insensitive and that I needed to understand where he was coming from. How can I when I think he's rushing things? I don't believe in quick love and told him that. Serious answers only please.

I am having one of my weird pregnancy swings again and I need a good baby name. I'm having a girl and I want a unique name for her. Whoever gets a really good name may end up naming my baby! Please help and don't answer this question if you're not serious.

I interviewed with a place this morning. It went well and i was asked back for a second interview this afternoon. On the way to the 2nd interview, there was an accident holding up traffic. I thought i knew a short cut but got lost... i was a few minutes late, less than 10 minutes.
I arrived ready to explain what happened, but the manager (whom i had not met before) came over and was very condescending, asking, "When were you supposed to be here?" then acting as if she didn't believe my excuse. She then asked if i would come in on Thursday instead, saying, "At 2:30? Are you sure you can be here on time?" again in a really condescending tone.
I know it's important to not be late to an interview, but i had a plausible reason. I didn't call because i didn't have my cell and finding a phone would've taken longer... it was all a big mess, but i found her behavior to be unprofessional. Should i take this as a sign that i shouldn't work there? Or just get over it and try again Thursday?

I'll try to make this brief. I know of somebody who has been e-mailing a girl (about 30yrs old) who is in Russia. I have not been able to dig up any dirt on her,so I do not believe she is a scam artist. However,My friend has already sent some money to her so she can come over here. She is now asking him for some more money,something about being solventbefore she can make the trip. She claims to have the visa and all other paperwork,but I do not understand the need for her to prove she is solvent(has money to support herself) before coming over here. Is there some place I can research this to see if she is telling the truth? My friend has ask me for some money to send her and I do not know what to do. Any suggestions? (Give me some websites I can research if you know of any)
