I know I read the bible, and their is still much for me to learn and understand, but their is NO place in the bible that says Jesus was Married to Mary Mag. or had anything close to Sex.
Where are people getting this trash from?
And even if he was, what does that have to do with anything?
He made this world, he can do anything he want to agree?

The guy who wrote that stupid Da Vinci Code made it up. Even if there was a real Da Vinci Code, what would Leonardo Da Vinci know about the life of Jesus that people who lived in his time didn't? The problem with getting married is that it would be gruel to marry someone knowing you were going to be put to death. That would be a sin and Jesus was without sin.

First, the bible doesnt have all the gospels that were written at that time, so people get the facts from other gospels.
Secondly, it makes a difference because of how women are treated in the Catholic Church, ever see any woman priests?
Also, the Da Vinci Code is fiction, but the fact still remains there were much more then 4 gospels

I don't have any concrete answers that I can give, but I can point you out to some resources that you can check into. Follow the links thad should be with this message.
Both of these books I had not personally read but had check the excerpts. And for those that try to run with the Da Vinci Code as though it is gospel, be aware. We are warned that if anybody is trying to preach "another gospel" other than the one we know, that is the one in the Bible, that person is considered condemned. (Galatians 1:6-9)

Technically, his father made this world. The bible is not a historical document. It was used to explain why things were the way there were and to evangelize. Therefore, it is possible that Jesus was married, though I don't believe that it's true, nor are there any actual historical documents that say it is. Regardless, I agree with you in that it really has nothing to do with anything; I believe it has no bearing on whether or not Jesus is God, which I believe he is.

There is a lot more to the history of religion than what you read in the King James Catholic version of the novel, The Holy Bible. When the Catholics translated the Hebrew version of the holy texts they put a lot of things in there own words AND left out what they didn't want to print. They even left out whole chapters like the book of Mary and many others. They even destroyed and distorted many of them. Actually the whole Bible is distorted, the holy texts weren't written in verse.
Oh.....by the way, there is nothing in the novel, 'The Holy Bible' that was written during the time of 'Jesus', it was written thousands of years after his time.

This Speculation was brought about by Leonardo da Vinci version of the lord's supper. The gnostic gospels which were found in terrible shape provided no evidence that Jesus was married. Dan Brown's Book "Da Vinci Code" had people believing this pile of trash, and thats just what the gnostic gospels were..trash. Da Vinci Code is FICTION...

They are getting it from legends of the Knights Templar and extra biblical writings. There is a reason why Jesus could not get married and that is because he had to be the perfect sacrificial lamb. And since some believe he was God and man at the same time his offspring would not be human and we would have a problem. The flood was in genesis was speculated to get rid of the Nephilim. That is a whole other ball of wax.

I don't see the big deal about Jesus being married. It was abnormal for a Jewish man in his time to NOT be married by 20. He was sent here to be like man. What difference would it make? I think there is a good possibility that he was.

There were 80 gospels, but King James deleted all but 4. You can do that when you're king. The other gospels said that Jesus was married to Mary Magdelene.

Because its really unbelievable to think that a normal human man would walk around without the companionship of a woman...In those times that Jesus was alive it was the custom to be married and have a family...but all religions want to say he was celibate ..that is just not normal
