If her hubby was there I guess she is probably thinking that the first person who should have come to her rescue should have been her hubby. Don't worry about it - she's just being a bit pity. You did what was necessary and she should be happy that there was someone there who knew what to do in the case of choking.

I saw the original Heimlech, on a program. He was taught this maneuver by Ninja's and it was his super power. Maybe she is jealous that you give her all the attention and hubby ignores her choking pleas?

YOUR MOTHER-IN-LAW IS UPSET AT HER HUSBAND BECAUSE HE FAILED TO SAVE HER LIFE AT A TIME WHEN SHE NEEDED HIM THE MOST. ALTHOUGH YOU SAVED HER AND SHE IS UNDOUBTEDLY THANKFUL, SHE FEELS LET DOWN BY THE ONE PERSON SHE THOUGHT SHOULD HAVE HELPED HER IN HER TIME OF NEED. I GUESS THAT SOMETIMES WE CAN GET SO ENTANGLED IN EACH OTHERS LIVES TO REMEMBER THAT WE ARE ALL INDIVIDUALS.
