I read about the St . Louis Arch, and I asked my father about it because he's been to St . Louis several times . He said he's never seen it . My mother said it can't be much if my father hasn't seen it . However, my father traveled for work, not to see the sights . When my father traveled, he only saw the really crummy part of the city, so he could visit a city and still never really see it . How tall is the St . Louis Arch -- and can you see it from anywhere in St . Louis ?

Hey everyone. I could be moving to St. Louis in the next month or so for a job. What is there to do there and what are the best communities in the area. How is the economy?

My husband is Jewish and we would like to move out of California. He's very concerned with rural areas that have many church's and no Temples or Synagogues. Realistically are there still hateful people that shun you from their community for being Jewish?? We are looking at an area outside, western of Cape Cape Girardeau MO. Honest answers only please.

I'm going to be a first year medical student at SLU next year. I'm pretty unfamiliar with the area, so I'm wondering what are some good neighborhoods for a young professional student like myself to live in?

I've heard that the Central West End, Soulard, and LaFayette Square are the most popular neighborhoods among students. What are the pros and cons to each area? Which areas are the "safest", relatively speaking? Are there any boundaries in this area that really shouldn't be crossed for safety reasons (e.g. I've heard that Delmar Blvd is about as far north as you want to go in the CWE)?

Thanks for your help!

Hi. We are planning a vacation to St. Louis, MO. We have never been there before and are wanting to travel the metrolinks so we don't have to do a lot of driving. Does anyone know where there is a Metrolink station that is "near" a hotel. I need to know where to book us a room. I tried to call metrolink but he didn't seem to know much about it, which was odd. If anyone knows...thank you.

If you had to live in either st.louis or detroit, ( #1 and # 2 on the highest crime rated cities in the U.S.) considering that detroit is really been doing bad lately with losing a lot of jobs and st.louis has been gaining population and is starting a complete renovation of downtown st.louis, and is gaining back upper-class residents.
