Is this a decent neighborhood? Can anyone tell me anything about it?

It's a moderately-depressed urban neighborhood. It's not the hollywood-style version of the ghetto, by any means, but it's not the best part of the city. There are much better places to hang out, work, or live, if you can.

It is not one of the better areas. Would not want to venture out walking at night. And even in the daytime neet be be aware of your surroundings. Where you park,etc.
Page west towards I-270 and Westport area would be a better choice.

near MLK and kingshighway, right?
i used to work at a charter school a few blocks away near MLK and Goodfellow.
not a nice neighborhood. i never felt UNsafe, but i was in a school that had fences & was only there in the daylight. i would not have felt safe at night or alone.
i would not have felt safe if my car broke down while driving out of there to my apt.
