The City Museum is fun, with an eclectic variety of things to see and do. So is the St. Louis Science Center in Forest Park, as well as the zoo.
There are a couple of gaming establishments if you like gambling. Harrahs and Ameristar are out near the Airport and St. Charles, and the Admiral is on Laclede's Landing next to the arch.
The St. Louis Mills Mall is the area's largest collection of retail outlets, and the Train Museum in Kirkwood is kind of fun, too.
Got kids? The Magic House children's museum is a lot of fun, and so is Dave and Busters out in Earth City.
No kids? Check out the Anheuser-Busch brewery tour, complete with free samples at the end of the tour!

I personally think the best thing in St. Louis is the Anheuser Busch brewery tour. Even if you don't drink, it's fun and enjoyable--and if you like beer there are free samples at the end. It's also fun to take the Metrolink light rail around town and explore different neighborhoods.

You should check out St. Charles. It's about 25 minutes west of downtown STL. It has the largest historic district this side of the Mississippi. Main St. has tons of cool shops and restaurants and the Ameristar casino is right down the street.

In November you will maximum in all probability want to do interior issues in St.Louis. i could advise spending an entire day in woodland Park - artwork museum, historic previous museum, zoo.you could consume lunch on the Boathouse cafe interior the park and have dinner at any of the super Italian eating places on the hill. yet another exciting day could be downtown - Arch, New Cathedral, previous Courthouse, Lacledes touchdown for meals and drink and consistent with probability a visit to Union Station to verify out the shops. Spend an afternoon taking a Brewery excursion and then consume dinner in between the super eating places in Soulard. verify out what exhibits are enjoying on the Fox or the Grandel or Sheldon in case you like theater and consume dinner on South Grand at between the particularly some ethnic eating places earlier the performances.you desire to to circulate to the Delmar Loop to browse the classic shops, have a Fitzs root beer and consume at BlueBerry hill. I dont have the schedule for the Blues or the Rams besides the undeniable fact which you desire to to make certain one in all their video games in the event that they're on the city that week. in case you nonetheless have time, i could advise a visit to the wineries in Agusta and to the shops and eating places in previous city St.Charles and then to the Ameristar on line casino. yet another determination is to circulate the river and circulate to the historic city of Alton and Grafton and the inn at Pierre Marquette in case you're finding for a place to stay i could advise midtown. There are Hampton lodges and Drurys that are very effective and life like. yet another extra upscale determination is the Chase motel top in the time of from woodland Park. that is been redone and is a landmark. relish your honeymoon.

I went there for the first time last year and had a great time. We went to the Zoo, which is free and fantastic (you can give donations), a Cardinals baseball game, and to the City Museum (www.citymuseum.org) which is like chutes and ladders that you get to climb on, it was really neat. Have a great visit.
