I am thinking about relocating to Buffalo for a few different reasons, but I am hoping for some advice. What areas are good and which ones are bad? Is the weather worse in some places than others? Which places are safest, etc. Thank you!

I'm trying to remember a theme park I went to as a kid. I think it was in Reno, NV. If not there it might have been in Utah. I remember it had a rudimentary log flume (it basically just went in a circle with a drop), it had a place where you could pan for gold, and I remember some kind of playground with a small town set in the background. Then it had a place where you could walk around on faux railroad tracks through faux mountains (I think there were shops or educational areas at the ends of these), and there was another part where you could tour a fake mine. Does anyone know what place I'm thinking of?

I've visited California once and love it...would love to move there. But people are always saying that people in CA are very superficial and materialistic. It may be like that in some areas, but is it as bad in, say, Sacramento? Or northern CA?

I have asked something similar to this in the past, but i didn't get any responses. My husband and I are trying to find something to do for our wedding anniversary, we don't want to spend a lot of money but would like to have fun. We can't do anything at home because we have a older nephew staying with us. We are from Tennessee so if anyone is from here and have any suggestions let me know, but if not we are able to travel.

I currently live in the D.C. area and my friend and I wanted to take a weekend trip somewhere we have never been. We were thinking to go to either Cleveland or Chicago, but we can't decide! What is there to do around these places, and how easy is it to get around with no car? Thanks!!

My husband has been relocated to Baton Rouge, LA. Neither of us care to live in the city, however. Is there anywhere I can go to get info on the towns surrounding Baton Rouge? Schools, community . . .? We are kind of making a blind move and I don't want to move into a bad area. Any help appreciated. Thanks
