The Adirondacks in New York State. Very scenic in the fall, with reds, yellows, oranges, and golds on trees everywhere.
As a bonus, most of the Adirondacks are easy to climb. Bring the whole family to the top of Mount Marcy, and see for a hundred miles in every direction!

White Mountains in New Hampshire since I live near them and go skiing there.
The Grand Tetons in Wyoming, they are breathtaking and I love it out there.

Of the very few I've been visited, I say the Adirondacks. They are also an awesome sight from across lake Champlain in Vermont, by the way.
