I recently stayed in a hotel outside Atlantic City, NJ. The sheets were paper thin and worn away in some spots. At one point we noticed something crawling from the rug onto the wall and upon further inspection realized it was a slug. How it got in the room...no idea! We had nowhere else to go and we were paying a decent amount for the room. It sucked, but lesson learned. What gross things have you experienced in a hotel room you just HAD to put up with for the night?

I know I can use debit cards to book flights, hotels, etc.

But as I understand it, once the items are booked, the money in your account is immediately taken, and I'd rather that money remain in the account until closer to the travel date. Or am I mistaken on how this process works?

Is there a better way?

The George Rogers Clark Historic Trail is a roadway system that goes from Vincennes to Lafayette. I see signs for it in and near Lafayette along SR 25 and SR 28. However, I can't seem to find anything on-line about it, not even its existence. I was wondering it anyone knows where I might be able to find information on the route and its significance. Thanks in advance.

If I would video record a tape using a vhs camera, and all I wanted to send through the mail was the little tape, how would I go about doing that? I'm pretty sure I just cant stick it in the mail.

Also, If i sent it out Tuesday(considering Monday the postal service isnt working) will my tape get to California by Friday or on Friday by any chance?

Just wondering since im making my cousin a videotape of stuff for his birthday since he hasnt been home from the Air Force in about 5 years. Im just gonna record a bunch of stuff of people he hasnt seen in years.
