What if I am travelling by car, and I break down on the side of the interstate, and I have no clue where I am? How will 911 be able to locate me in order to send help?

Is there a special kind of cell phone that would be able to give 911 my exact location?

My boyfriend and I are graduating from college on May 2007. I will be a Certified Public Accountant and he will get into Law school. We live in Nebraska and we love it! but we are thinking of moving somewhere else for him to go to law school, and then we would move back to Nebraska when we want to start a family. What's the best city to spend the next three years of our lives?

Favorite: TEXAS (where I'd rather live), Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, Alabama (outside of Birmingham,) North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Wyoming, Washington. Friendly people, great scenery, lots to do, each state has its own history and culture.

Okay: Virginia, Michigan, Indiana, Utah, Arkansas, Pennsylvania, Oregon, Kentucky (where I now live), Colorado (don't like the place but it's SO pretty.) The attractions, cities, people are all just mediocre (Ok, so Philly and Pittsburgh are great cities, and Colorado is gorgeous, but other than that...)

Least favorite: Ohio, New Jersey, California, Delaware, Florida, Nebraska, Nevada. Why would anybody live in these places? Really? (No offense to anybody who lives in any of these listed states, I'm sure there are a few good qualities to them.)

The many replies i got from Americans was for the most part quite rude and not caring. They said many of them ....well you if you dont want to come here and put up with these immigration procedures then to hell with you ...go some where else !

WHAT YOU AMERICANS READING THIS QUESTION DO NOT REALIZE ....IS THAT YOU ARE LOOSING TOURISTS AND MANY AMERICAN DOLLARS AS A RESULT OF YOUR IMMIGRATION PROCEDURES.

NO ONE IS SAYING DO NOT HAVE STRICT IMMIGRATION PROCEDURES......BUT WHAT WE HAVE A PROBELM WITH IS THE WAY IN WHICH YOUR IMMIGRATION OFFICERS' BEHAVIOUR TOWARDS FOREIGN VISITORS.

MANY OTHER COUNTRIES HAVE HAD TERRORIST ATTACKS SINCE 9/11......NAMELY SPAIN AND YES BRITAIN.
bUT WHY IS IT THAT OUR IMMIGRATION STAFF DO NOT TREAT FOREIGN VISITORS LIKE THIS? ANSWER THIS ??????

It has to be said that if your beloved US immigration officers were doing their jobs properly 9/11 would have never happened.
