Does the person have to be 18 or 21 years of age to get a room, and can you only get a room with a credit card? (This is for NJ)

If you go to a no name local place with cash... most of the time the clerks don't speak enough English to ask you for ID.

Why don't you call a motel and ask? In the meantime I will call your mother and ask her why you are interested in a Motel Room/
