I've lived in Alaska for most of my life. I only just recently moved to Alabama to finish school.
When I lived in Alaska, I've visited Denali National Park. I've traversed Ruth Glacier near Denali. I've hiked some of the mountains near Anchorage, including Harp Mountain and Flattop Mountain. I've visited some of the trails surrounding Anchorage.
I've gone kayaking near Sitka (very fun), I also went hiking there (very scenic). I've visited Dutch Harbor in the Aleutian Islands while on a medevac flight. I've visited Fairbanks a couple of times. I've also visited the Hot Springs near Fairbanks, and got to spend some time in North Pole, Alaska. I grew up in a small town called Homer, Alaska, and got to do a lot of hiking there. I've visited Soldotna, Kenai, Hope, Seward, Seldovia, and numerous small towns whose names escape me. I've gone on flight seeing tours of Denali (lots of fun) and gotten stuck in a crevasse on a glacier (not so fun).
Alaska is a wonderful place to visit. If you have any specific questions, please email me (my email address is on my Q&A page) and I'd be glad to answer.

Sitka, watched the whales feed before they headed to Maui to birth their calves. It was amazing to see them come up out of the water. Plus it was Alaska day, so we got that fun also.
