what should you know about california before moving there? like what are some pointers.. such as burbank california, or l.a., just all about california. what are things you can do?, and malls and so on! Thanks!!

California is a big state. From your question it appears you are asking about southern California. I would recommend the San Diego area rather than LA, if that's the case. ANd yes, the cost of living is very high in all of southern CA.
I would go for norther CA ... two hours north of San Francisco on up to the Oregon border. (Better yet, go to Oregon!!) Cost of living is lower, and its more rustic and beautiful.

You better have a great job lined up- or you can forget the mall......rent/houses are so expensive!
