I heard it was busy but just HOW busy? We went over this past summer during the week of August 5-13 and we managed to escape a lot of the crowds. We to one of the parks in the morning and evening and spent the afternoon hours by the pool. How would president's weekend in february compare to that week in terms of crowds.

Or...
should I avoid pres weekend at all costs?

I'm going to Disney world in February and I was wondering what type of weather to expect. Is it too cold to go into the pool? Mainly, is the pool at the Beach Club heated?

I've lived in Ohio all of my life and I am in the aviation field. My wife has a degree in education. We are really interested in moving to Florida..more specifically the Orlando area. I would like to get on with Airtran Airlines, and we have heard that Florida is a great state for teachers....Ohio currently has no need for teachers at all! Actually, it's tough to find a job in Ohio, period! Can anyone tell me about living in Orlando? I have read many comments about horrible drivers, crime, high home costs, etc. etc., but it's my opinion that anyone will find these problems in just about any city. I live in Cleveland, and believe me I'm under the impression that WE have the worst drivers, and the home prices are ridiculous for what you get. All opinions are welcome, but I'd especially like to hear from the people that have moved to Florida from other parts of the country, just to get an outsider's perspective. Thanks!

Is it closer to get to Disney World from the airport than to Universal Studios? I need to book a hotel soon for the surprise getaway for my husband. He is turning 30. I am seriously considering Hard Rock Hotel at Universal. Any thoughts? It is so expensive though. What seems really affordable and nice is Fairfield Inn near Disney. Only 99 dollars per nite....ahhhh what to do!!! but then it is for his 30th bday....I should go all out and not be cheap about it right?? Please help~! Thank you sooo much...

If you are not able to go on any of the rides because of a physical reason, are there special park tickets for you?

I have been to Disney World over 20 times and I know all there is to know about the parks. But, I have never stayed in any Disney hotel and I know little about them. I'm looking into the Carribean Beach and the Port Orleans- French Quarters. I'm going with family and there will be no kids so I'm looking for things that young adults and adults would like at the resorts. I've looked them both up on the Disney website and seen pictures but I still can't make up my mind so i'd like the opinion of people who have stayed at least at one of them before. ALSO, please don't reccommend a value or deluxed price hotel... we cannot pay the money for delux but would like something more than value.

Thank you!!

We are going to be in Disney World from Jan 5 - 13. Do you think that it will slow down and be less crowded in the parks Jan. 8-13? Has anyone ever run the marathon, how is it? Lastly, what kind of clothes should I pack--what will the weather be like?
