I heard it was busy but just HOW busy? We went over this past summer during the week of August 5-13 and we managed to escape a lot of the crowds. We to one of the parks in the morning and evening and spent the afternoon hours by the pool. How would president's weekend in february compare to that week in terms of crowds.

Or...
should I avoid pres weekend at all costs?

Well, according to the Walt Disney World website Presidents' week is a time of highest attendance, but from mid-June until Labor Day is also considered a time of highest attendance, and you went during that time period this past summer. I went from August 1 - 11 and I agree, the crowds weren't bad at all, really. I went during August the the summer before, too. This year we're going July 15 - 25. Anyway, I don't think there's any reason for you to necessarily avoid that time of year. I'm sure it will be less crowded than Christmas, New Year's, and Spring Break.

It's hard to say. I mean, it's Walt Disney World - no matter when you go you'll have a great time. It may be crowded, but you have a life, and you have to go when it's convenient.

Hope I could help! Have fun!

Very late in January or very early in February would be less busy, but President's weekend will not be as busy as it was in August. It sounds like you had the right idea as far as spending the afternoon hours outside the park. Follow this plan again, and I'd say you're good to go. If you were okay with the crowds during the summer, then you'll be okay in February.

Have fun!

it's going to be exceptionally crowded. each time the youngsters are out of school, the team stages are extreme. in case you reside at a Disney lodge, you will get greater Magic Hours, so the crowds won't too undesirable for that. that's while between the parks maintains to be open the two 3 hours after that's respectable ultimate to the final public or opens one hour early for Disney lodge visitors in basic terms.

It is busy, but not as busy as you might think. It is the beginning of break season, so you need to go in with a plan, like always at the mouse house. It gets worse the closer to Easter you get. Don't tell anyone, but Columbus Day weekend is a great time to go....write privately and I'll explain as there are three reasons.
