At the Magic Kingdom, some of the more popular gentle rides at the parks include Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin and the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway; the park also has Peter Pan's Flight, Cinderella's Golden Carousel, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, It's a Small World and the Mad Tea Party in Fantasyland and Goofy's Barnstormer roller coaster in Mickey's Toontown Fair. Also included are Splash Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Frontierland. Adventureland has the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.
Children's rides at Epcot are limited; the only one strictly child-oriented is Journey Into Imagination with Figment. Soarin' is suitable for all ages. Universe of Energy is a slow-moving, yet entertaining ride through the history of energy. The Seas with Nemo and friends is at the Living Seas pavilion. The Norway pavilion has the water ride "Maelstrom", but the presence of a three-headed troll might scare some children.
Disney-MGM Studios consists mainly of shows like MuppetVision 3D and the Lights, Motors, Action Stunt Show as well as Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. Some rides children might enjoy are Star Tours and the Great Movie Ride. The Tower of Terror and the Rock 'n Roller Coaster might be a bit intense for children, though.
At Animal Kingdom, some suitable rides for children would be the Kilimanjaro Safaris, Kali River Rapids and Primeval Whirl. Other rides such as Dinosaur and Expedition Everest could possibly be too intense for children.
I hope this helps.

Out of the parks you would want to take kids to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom! They have the most "safe" rides that you could work your way up on!
Epcot- TestTrack=extremely fast, bumpy, and sharp turns. and can be scary to some small kids. MissionSpace= very very intense ride, extreme g-forces, my father had a stroke from the force! it's a fun ride, if your sure ur 100% healthy and fine with high-force rides. SpaceshipEarth=very slow, narrative ride that gives the history of telecommunications, most kids end up taking a nap during this loooong ride (about 30 minutes from start to finish). Journey into the Imagination= used to be the best ride, now it's slow and confusing, noteven worth going on, but is pretty much the only kids rated ride. Soaring= was very boring but could be amusing to small kids, pretty much a chair over a huge screen. The Land= a slow boat that goes through gardens and shows how they grow plants with hydroponics. Monstro= a crazy canoe boat located in the Netherlands portion of the "worlds" that goes through a storm and drops (very short ride) when i was a kid this ride terrified me. And that's it besides a few slow boat rides through history reenactments.
MGM- Tower of Terror= a power tower with the twilight zone theme, drops you 14 stories inside a dark elevator shaft, very intense for kids. Rockin Roller Coaster= aerosmith themed indoor roller coaster, takes off at 60 mph, and goes upside down, again, not really for small kids, but very fun! Star Wars Simulator= very sharp, jarring ride that tore my mother's elbow tendon due to bucking, kids could have fun, but ur arm muscles will hurt afterwards. The Great Movie Ride= slow moving ride hi-liteing the pasts movies, kinda boring. The Backlot Tour= interesting ride about movie set-ups and props, kinda entertaining. MGM has alot to offer in the show arena, phantasm is something you can't miss, but the seating is gone an hour before it starts. Also the beauty and the beast show is great.

All of them are pretty kid oriented. Just stay away from the coasters if your unsure. My kids loved the haunted mansion and Epcot ( with a P ) and Animal kingdom and I'm not sure of the one ride but it had the pirates of the caribbean in it and brer rabbit. The 3D glasses ones are really cool too. They had Honey I shrunk the audience when we went and also a pirate one.

Animal Kingdom has the "Lion King show" its absolutely spectacular, although its not a ride. Its worth the price of admission by it self.
