Orlando

I am going in a couple of weeks and I'm interested in this program, but I am curious to hear from people who may have already done it and if they enjoyed it and thought it was worth it, or not??

I'm going to Orlando next month with a friend, and we're looking for some great non Disney things to do. I've done some research, but really want some answers from locals or people who've been there. Also what kinds of things can we do if it rains?

I am planning a trip to Orlando for the end of April/early May. I want to spend 4 days at the theme parks in Orlando and also do a cruise. Right now I am thinking of taking a 4 night mid-week cruise out of Port Canavaral to the Bahamas. The only problem I see with this is that this leaves me to explore the Orlando theme parks on the weekend before and after my cruise, since the cruise is from Monday to Friday. There is another cruise option where you can go over the weekend (so then I could go to the theme parks during the week), but it is one night less in length and it is about $100 more per person!

I'm wondering if there is a big difference in theme park busyness at this time of year between weekdays and weekends. I plan to go to Disneyworld (Magic Kingdom), Seaworld, Universal Studios, and Typhoon Lagoon. Is it worth it for me to switch my cruise to avoid lineups? Or is the difference between weekdays and weekends not that much that time of year?

i dont know how to keep a hold of my camera, phone, money, everything i need throughtout the day at all these amusement parks orlando studios, islands of adventure, seaworld, wetnwild, and busch gardens. I have purses yes, but people dont wallk around amusment parks with a purse. also it needs to be waterproof people say ziplock bags but c'mon now how will i carry a ziplock bag throught the day and on rides!?! Please help with some information on what you have done things like that...and are flip flops okay? i dont like tennis shoes. can i set them aside on some of the rides like they let you do at six flags and stuff like that?

We're not really beach people, but enjoy the sun and like having our own pool (hence the preference for private villa). We like sight seeing, shopping and good nightlife, restaurants, bars etc. nearby. We would be looking at going for two weeks in late April/ Early May.

My dream has always been to work for Disney as an engineer in the ride department. However I have recently gone to Disney and Sea World and it really hit me that I would want to be part of both amazing places. I don't know if I should continue my work to get to Disney or think of Sea World... The future will probably change me a lot, but I would like to know what you think. I have a 8 & 6 year old & 7 1/2 month old. These are the ages they will be when we go to Disney next month. We have already taken time off from work but I want to know what you all think about taking a baby this young. Is this something people do or will it be too hard? Hi all.

Just wanted to ask some people who really know!

We are planning a family holiday to orlando for next year - but due to family constraints we can ONLY go the first two weeks of August. Obviously its pretty rainy and stuff but is it really that bad in florida at that time of year that I should deny my kids a trip to Disneyland? Im in scotland btw so im pretty used to the weather being a bit crap - and ive been to africa as well so freek weather ive seen also! Hail stones the size of your fist... OUCH!!

I just moved to Tampa, and I really enjoy camping. I was wondering if anyone knows of any good campsites in Tampa. Especially those that are REAL camping, and have fire pits on the site. Money really isn't a problem.

Hey i was just wondering if you could give me some links to some pictures of shoes i can wear to amusement parks.....i am going to orlando studios, islands of adventure, wet n wild, sea world, and busch gardens...just help me everyone says not to wear flip flops and that is what i find is comfortable...i hate tennis shoes they are NOT comfortable to me...so something besides tennis shoes or flip flops (maybe some flats) just show some pics THANKS ALL
